I was quite shocked to see the low marketing of this film because most of the people liked the 2021 film and people held their heads in shame. But today, when I really saw the film, I understood the real reason behind it and now it is important to tell you too, otherwise, if you also get caught in a fraud, it will be too late.
Love, Fear, and Crocodiles
So the thing is that everyone knows about the Taj Mahal in Agra, but 99.99% of the people ignore the Yamuna river flowing on its banks every time. What If You Haven’t Seen Part One?
Well, yes, some people who have not seen the first film and are getting tensed whether they should directly watch part two or not, you can watch it comfortably, no load. Actually the story starts ahead of the previous film but is not connected in any way, which means you will not need much of it to understand this film. Three words, love and dhokha are enough.

The story of part one is over but part two is interesting because two new players have come in this game, one with a heart and the other with a mind.

Between Thailand and the Noose
The gist of the story, without giving any hint, is that on one side of Rani Madam is the sea of Thailand, and on the other side is the scene of hanging from a noose, and in between this, the thing that is going to decide is the fear of Rani Madam herself.
A Suspenseful Setup
The police do not have proof, but the murderer is in front. If something comes out of the mouth, then Rekha Maam is an iconic film of Bollywood. After hearing all this, that movie must have come to mind: Khoon Bhari Maang, Aabhi Tak, Pyaar Dhokha, Shaadi Aur Crocodile.

You are right, something similar is going to happen, but there are many climaxes within the climax. You will feel that the movie ends, and a new story will start from there.

The point is that those who are fans of the previous movie, your heart is going to break because honestly, the level of this new movie is not going to reach that at all.
Character Downfall
The biggest downfall has happened in Taapsee’s character, whose colorful style was enjoyed by both the filmmakers and the viewers last time. This time, Madam’s relationship with both the words Haseen and Dilruba has been broken a bit, due to which that old excitement seems to be missing in the story.
Strong Concept, Weak Execution
The concept must be looking strong, but only when you hear it and think inside your mind, when you see the movie in front of your eyes, this time you will not feel that much spice, there is a difference because the directors of both movies are different.
Suspense Comes Too Early
And how can you forget this what you did last time? The suspense started in the climax, it was a shock but this time you have to take the story ahead of the suspense in the beginning of the film itself, for this you will need a new story to add new shocks but this is the biggest weakness of Haseen Dulharwa which is not able to let go of the old story due to which a new beginning is not possible.
Predictable but Watchable?
By the way don’t get it wrong, the climax may seem a bit predictable but the one who thinks should be applauded because there is a world of cinema beyond logic, intensity, remember how big critics etc. completely ruined the film by insulting it, then the public held its hand and the film became a cult classic.
Sunny Kaushal’s Performance
Sunny Kaushal has set out to do the same thing again this time. I don’t know about the film, but after watching hi,m you may not find the film that bad.
For Casual Viewers
In simple words, those who watch a little more films will already know the end of this story due to which the film will be delayed for two hours It will feel wasted but yes, those who are less interested in films or watch movies for time pass will get a decent suspense thrill in the end.
Underwhelming Acting
Apart from this, surprisingly, Taapsee and Vikrant are two amazing actors. This time, they have not done anything special that even a single scene of theirs will be remembered.
Final Verdict
The short review of the film will be that after part one, you were so excited about part two that you will not even like to think about part three. The film is going to get two stars out of five from me.
Positives
- First, making people’s time worth by adding twists in the climax
- Second, the concept of planning serial murders to kill people after reading the books of a fictional writer is solid.
Negatives
- One is weak and mixed up, a little predictable story.
- Second, very normal acting. Only Sunny Kaushal is shining a little.
- Third, Haseen Plus. Dilruba — these two words in the title are like a deception — the film has nothing to do with them.
