Introduction

Season two has come, so many characters of Squid Game are not remembered in the beginning because these people look the same. At least I had this problem but in the beginning its recap is shown and you start connecting with its characters and storyline little by little.
Recap of Season 1 and Start of Season 2
Now in its season one, you saw a game which everyone played but deadly elimination was added to it and every elimination had a price i.e. a price and the more players get eliminated, the more the price will increase and the one who survives till the end will win this prize. But the one who wins this prize i.e. player number 456 gets upset with the death of all these people and decides that now he will find that man and kill him and end this deadly game and with this plot its season two starts now.
Slow Start and Drama in Season 2
Because it is not easy to find that person, so in the process of finding him, they have removed the first two episodes of this season just like that, which means that for almost 2 hours you watch only drama, which will not bore you that much, but you will have to watch it at 1.5x speed. When its third episode comes, a very big twist comes in the game, after which the real fun begins in the game and after that all the episodes you will be in tension that what is happening.
Expectations vs Reality
By the way, if you watch its season two with the expectation like season one that you will get to see many games and will enjoy a lot, then it is not going to happen because this season is not about games at all. Season two is about revenge, which player number 456 wants to take from the game makers, due to which many people lost their lives. In the last two episodes, apart from the game, you will see a lot of action.
How to Enjoy Season 2
So overall if you watch this season keeping low expectations, you can enjoy it a lot. But friend, everyone will have expectations because season one had set everyone’s expectations sky high and when you watch this second season with a lot of expectations, you will feel disappointed somewhere.
Games and Character Build-Up
There are games in it. There are three games in total and there is also a new game which was not there in the last season. The character build-up is also good. You will connect with all those new characters easily, just like the connection was developed in the last season.
Problems with Season 2
The only problem is that in the process of bringing the third part, the makers have forcibly added a lot of drama. For example, after every game, there is a voting in which it is decided whether the game should be played further or not. As it was in the first season, it has been forcibly stretched just to increase the length of the series and you will feel this.
I have literally watched the entire season at a speed of 1.5x. And still I felt the episodes were slow. The second season has not ended and the third part will definitely come, which is probably going to come in 2025.
Final Verdict
Overall, this season is worth watching. There is brutal bloodshed, there are abuses too and in the first episode there is an open back shot, so keep it away from children. Otherwise, this particular season gets three out of five stars from me.
